- Notes:I made three copies like this. During production of these three puzzles I tried an experiment whereby I treated the cocobolo with acetone in order to help the glue take a better bite, but unfortunately the acetone caused some discolored spots in the maple. In order to address this, I treated the rest of the maple with acetone in order to blend the discoloration, yet the end result was that the maple appears more yellowish in hue than otherwise. Not my favorite outcome; lesson learned.
